Vegetarian Bolognaise

  • 50g TVP mince
  • 1tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 280ml stock
  • 200g tomatoes, skinned
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1tsp dried basil
  1. Soak the mince in stock for 10 minutes.
  2. Lightly fry onion in a little oil with the basil.
  3. Add garlic, mince, tomatoes and tomato puree. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Season to taste and serve with wholemeal spaghetti or other pasta as preferred.
